  • Great mid-day hamburger and fries.

• Soggy Peso Bar $

  • A favorite bar for tourists. Located across from the airport strip, facing Cancun.

• Coco’s Beach Bar / Grill $$

  • Great beachside gastropub

  • Located in Centro, beach facing Cancun

  • Food is average, but the view is amazing.

• Chichi’s and Charlie’s Bar / Grill $

  • Located at the “point” of the isla, where you get 270º of ocean view

• Tuturreque Beach Club by Playa Arena $$

  • A quieter and beautiful spot on the tip of the north end of the island. It’s free to use their beach chairs and umbrellas with a minimum food/drink purchase.

• DeNuccio’s Ristorante $$$

  • Best traditional italian food on the island. Amazing views. Great wine selection and full bar.

  • Spectacular steaks and drinks in an outdoor garden atmosphere

  • Best NY Style Pizza on the island. Dine-in is best.

• Playa Norte

  • By far the best beach on the island. Come for the morning or afternoon. Enjoy a massage, take a dip in the calm Mediterranean waters, or have a drink in the beach bar.

  • A great beach to watch the sunsets. Located walking distance from the passenger ferry terminal.

  • A pet-friendly beach, mid-island

Activities

• Snorkel/Scuba/Underwater Museum $$$

  • There’s an amazing underwater museum with statues and cars, designed to start up a new coral ecosystem. You can snorkel or dive to see it with daily tours.

  • You can also schedule a scuba or snorkeling tour around the island.

• Barracuda Fishing - Catch and Eat $$$

  • We’ve worked with Chepoa Holi with Musa Snorkel before and have had a wonderful time on a half-day fishing excursion.

• Aquatic Fun Day Water Park $

  • The only place on the island with water slides right into the Caribbean Sea. There’s a full water park and pool as well.

  • Located at the beginning of Sac Bajo

• Punta Sur (South Point) $

  • Pay 100 Pesos and walk to the southernmost part of the island and the easternmost point in Mexico. The statues are interesting, but the view is spectacular.

  • Great for kids. Plan ahead.
